Square Enix has released a new hotfix for patch 7.25, which is update 1.000.316. This update allows players to see the correct checkmarks for certain missions, and other bug fixes have also been addressed.

FINAL FANTASY XIV Hotfixes (June 17, 2025)

■ In Cosmic Exploration’s “Missions in Progress” window, Silver Star and Gold Star Requirements will now show a checkmark only if a mission’s completion requirements have been met.

■ The division number has been changed from 3 to 2 in the Field Instances of “Sinus Ardorum”, to relieve congestion from implementing Patch 7.21.

■ The following issues have been addressed:
– In the Mamool Ja Quests, movements of certain NPCs who appear in Gok Golma were incorrect.
– In Occult Crescent: South Horn, when a phantom job Thief used the phantom action Vigilance, the “Foreseen Offense” status would not be applied under certain conditions.
– In Occult Crescent: South Horn, under certain conditions, the Persistent Pot NPC would still follow even if the “Cache Me if You Can” status was turned off.
– In Occult Crescent: South Horn, the battle area indicator for the critical encounter “Shark Attack” remained visible even when the area had moved to a different location.
– In Occult Crescent: South Horn, the incorrect effect was displayed when changing a phantom job.
– In Cosmic Exploration, even if enough points toward Starward Standings had been accumulated, a message indicating there was no data may have appeared when speaking to the Scanningway NPC under certain conditions.
– In Cosmic Exploration, if you disconnected while the cosmic fortune roulette was spinning, the roulette spinning sound would still play even after losing connection.
– In the Active Help entry “Basic Controls”, an incorrect image was displayed when “Controller” was selected. (PlayStation®5/PlayStation®4/Xbox Series X|S)
