At the Summer Game Fest today, Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s release date has been pushed from Winter 2023 to Early 2024, with the game being launched on two discs. Additionally, the first gameplay trailer has been showcased, featuring Cloud and the gang after their escape from Midgar as they pursue Sephiroth across Gaia, and take on a variety of enemies in enhanced party combat.
