First Marvel's Wolverine Gameplay Leaks Online Following Unpaid Ransomware

Last week, it was reported that Insomniac Games was hit with ransomware, with the hacker group threatening to leak all their obtained files if Sony didn’t pay it. It seems they weren’t joking, as that’s precisely what has happened, with a build of Marvel’s Wolverine surfacing and several videos, including the first gameplay footage!

As posted on Reddit, the first gameplay footage of Marvel’s Wolverine has leaked online, along with other data about the game.

Obviously, this is extremely early footage of the game, and like the Grand Theft Auto 6 leak, it shouldn’t be an indication of what the final game will be. Other leak data points to the main campaign being roughly 15 hours long, a list of bosses and heroes features in the game, missions, and powers, and even concept art for the game that is extremely spoiler-filled.

With all this now out, we aren’t sure what this means for Insomniac Games, as this could potentially delay the game.

Of course, there is a big possibility that some of the info released is from an early build or based on an old or outdated version of the game. Take that into consideration before anything else.

Marvel’s Wolverine has been announced for the PS5 with no firm release date given yet.

Unless the reaction to what was leaked was very negative and they needed to redo most of the game to make it better then there is no reason to delay it.
