We have made the decision to move the release date of Forspoken to October 11, 2022. To that end, during the next few months we will focus all our efforts on polishing the game and can’t wait for you to experience Frey’s journey this fall.

Luminous Productions ended their announcement thanking their fans, as well as teasing more to come in the future.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support. We look forward to sharing more about Forspoken with you soon.

Before the delay, Forspoken was originally set for release on May 24. With five more months of additional development time, here’s hoping that the studio can iron out the kinks and issues so that it’s launch will be free from problems.
