Forspoken Demo Version’s Text, Mapping, and HDR Issues to Be Fixed for Full Release

Forspoken Demo

Forspoken currently has a demo version available for PS5 players to try out, but it isn’t perfect. Complaints regarding the Forspoken demo’s graphics, performance, and UI elements have caused the RPG to come off a rocky start even before its release.

Fortunately, it seems like Luminous Productions is aware of the concerns, with a recent update from the Forspoken Twitter page confirming that some of the issues will be addressed.

Here are the photos from the tweet for your convenience:

In the photos, you’ll notice that the text size and positioning are a lot more readable after adjustments. Forspoken’s menu features a unique fisheye-like effect that can be difficult to read from, especially for smaller text near the corners. The change seems to have toned down on the fisheye effect enough that you can read quest objectives and descriptions better.

Other than mentioning text size, HDR issues, and button mapping, the tweet does not address any of the other concerns that players have with the demo. We’ll have to wait and see if Luminous Productions decides to follow up on the other complaints at a later date.

Forspoken comes out on PS5 and PC on January 24, 2023.
