Generation Zero Companion Update and DLC Shoots Out

Generation Zero Companion Update

Systemic Reaction has released a free Companion Update for Generation Zero. This new update adds to the community’s long-requested features that we will detail below. Watch the Generation Zero Companion Update trailer right here:

The Generation Zero Companion Update adds the Machine Companion, the game’s first-ever machine that is friendly to players. This customizable ally is at your disposal to attack enemy machines, provide extra mobile storage for items, and help you take down factions.

After picking up the new “Making Friends” mission at the Vesslan Bunker Warboard, you’ll unlock your very own machine friend, with a customizable name, weapons, color scheme, and even voice! Use new emotes to interact with your Companion, keep it healthy by repairing it when it takes damage, and team up to defeat enemies together.

You can maximize the potential of your Machine Companion on the battlefield with the new Companion Accessories Pack DLC.

The DLC is available for $6.99 and allows players to have three additional behavior modules which can expand the functionality of your sidekick even further by:

  • Adding the ability for your Companion to heal you when you’re wounded
  • Collect and store loot from downed foes
  • Mark enemy machines
  • Increase visibility and damage received in combat
  • Extra armor and customization options

With 25 updates and two story expansions implemented since launch, now may be the best time for you to check out Generation Zero.
