Genshin Impact Upcoming Update 3.3 Features New Systems and Artifacts, Releasing December 7

Genshin Impact Upcoming Update 3.3

Genshin Impact’s upcoming update 3.3, titled “All Senses Clear, All Existence Void,” is coming soon (December 7), and miHoYo just revealed what players can look forward to next update with their latest trailer.

The four-minute video highlights various new updates coming to the game. Aside from new quests and characters, the 3.3 update will also come with fun extra side-content that you can enjoy after you’ve finished your dailies. All in all, here’s what you can expect:

  • Trading card game, Genius Invokation TCG combines Genshin Impact’s element-based combat system with strategy development
  • New Archon Quest Interlude Chapter reveals how our former enemy Scaramouche becomes the friendly Wanderer
  • Two new playable characters, five-star Anemo catalyst wielder, the Wanderer, and four-star Anemo archer Faruzan
  • A new season of fun events and challenges
  • Italian and Turkish text languages added to the game

The card game, in particular, looks very fleshed-out and could be a popular way to pass the time for Genshin players. Here’s how miHoYo explains the card game, Genius Invokation:

As a trading card game, Genius Invokation TCG combines the fun of Genshin Impact’s element-based combat system with strategy development, allowing both players and NPCs to compete against each other with their collection of cards. In a match of Genius Invokation, the winner must defeat all of their opponent’s Character Cards with Normal Attacks, Elemental Skills and Elemental Bursts of their own Character Cards. Therefore, skillfully swapping Character Cards to trigger Elemental Reactions and applying more buffs and effects with various Action Cards are vital to developing a winning strategy. However, performing the above actions often consumes a certain number of Elemental Dice, thus making dice rolling at the beginning of each round an important variable of the game. With more NPC card players defeated, players may redeem more cards and Dynamic Skins from the Card Shop.

Genshin Impact’s 3.3 update is coming this December 7 on all currently supported platforms. Once it’s out, we’ll be sure to let our readers know.
