During the course of your journey through Midgard and the other realms in God of War Ragnarok, you’ll come across a host of collectible items, hidden locations and even activities that need some digging and prodding before you’re able to accomplish the task at hand. Thankfully, we found a solution that doesn’t resort to the player googling everything (since it’s more fun if you discover it on your own), and at the same time, you’re getting a little bit of help. Check out our guide on how to help find collectibles in God of War Ragnarok a tad easier.

God of War Ragnarok – How to Find Collectibles Easier:

The main thing to remember here is: the accessibility option menu is your friend. There are loads of stuff you can edit there that will help you see items and locations more, and we’ve listed them all down and how they will help. Check out the gallery below for the full settings list, as well as the most important ones, and how they’ll help in your journey in finding — and seeing — what all the nine realms has to offer.

Background Color:

Change the background color to “black” which will make the other “interactable” colors pop out more. This is most likely the most important thing to change, as this alone can help finding hidden chests, structures that can be collapses and more stand out.

If you’re riding around the realms, turning this to black might make the game appear drab, but it’ll make spotting far out items way, way easier. This change blends perfectly well with our next accessibility feature that needs to be changed if you’re trying to find everything:

Interactable Color:

I turned this one to blue (you can choose which color suits you best), and it made the items I can hang from, spear into, etc. all the more easier to see! Mind, same with the background color change, this will make the game’s visuals not as nice to look at, but it will help making finding things way easier.

For those annoyed at finding the Nomir Chest runes, this should help a ton.

Target Color:

While not as important as the other two, changing the target color should help in puzzles and in finding extra crafting materials that are scattered throughout the different areas of the map.

For the rest of the options that can help finding stuff, head on to the gallery below. For the color, use what suits you best. I chose blue for interactable items, as it made it pop out more with the black/faded out background.
