PlayStation has collaborated with Adult Swim to bring a new ad for God of War Ragnarok featuring the iconic duo of Rick and Morty. The ad was featured just before the new Rick and Morty season premiered, and it shows Rick and Morty getting ready for God of War Ragnarok.

The ad starts off with Rick shaving his head off and using red paint on his face, imitating Kratos. Morty is confused about what’s happening, to which Rick convinces him that he is “curios” like Atreus before starting a portal heading to the nine realms (God of War world).

In the nine realms, Rick (shown as Kratos) finds a chest that has the iconic Leviathan Axe and Rick also teases “other unannounced upgrades” that will be seen in the game. Meanwhile, Morty (shown as Atreus), is being attacked by wild birds but Rick refuses to save him because he doesn’t want to get the Axe dirty.

All in all, the ad is hilarious. It’s not the first time PlayStation has collaborated with the Rick and Morty franchise. They also released an ad in 2020 to promote the PlayStation 5 consoles. This ad reminds us that God of War Ragnarok is right around the corner, launching on November 9 (pre-orders live now). We can’t wait to experience Kratos and Atreus’ next epic adventure!
