With its release date less than a day away, footage of the GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition intro comparison is starting to appear online, showcasing just how different the remaster is from the original. Check out the footage below via YouTuber GamersPrey.

As shown in the video above, it’s clearly apparent how different GTA The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition intro is from its original counterparts. GTA 3 and Vice City, in particular, both had their widescreen bars removed entirely. The overall lighting also looked very natural in the remakes, with GTA San Andreas’ opening scene with Carl Johnson and Officer Tenpenny showcasing an entirely different color palette from the the one in the original.
