IGGYMOB and Prime Matter have released a Gungrave GORE overview trailer, which explains Grave’s backstory and showcases Gungrave GORE’s setting, enemies, and combat in gory detail.

Narrated by Bunji Kugashira (familiar to fans of the original Gungrave), the trailer reveals that Grave, the game’s protagonist, is a resurrected soldier who awakens in a world threatened by the rise of the Raven Clan, a drug cartel attempting to take over the world with an alien drug termed the “Seed.” Millions of people have already been infected by the Seed, including Bunji himself. To oppose the Raven Clan, the resistance group “L’Archangel” used necro technology to revive and recruit Grave to their cause.

To put an stop to the Raven Clan, Grave must make full use of his combat and evasion abilities. Grave’s arsenal includes the transformable EVO-cannon “Death Hauler” (which can deflect projectiles, destroy shields, and pull enemies closer) and his unlimited-ammo “Cerberus” pistols. Grave’s quest to eradicate the Seed takes him across Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and the Raven Clan stronghold “Scumland,” an island fortress home to powerful enemies as well as the leaders of the Raven Clan.
