Hogwarts Legacy Summer Update

It’s been quite some time since we got a game update for Hogwarts Legacy, but that’s about to change later this week! So, what’s in the Hogwarts Legacy Summer Update? Read on to find out (and watch the trailer as well).

Hogwarts Legacy Summer Update:

Unfortunately, based on the trailer, changing the game’s season and being able to sit down seems to be just for the Photo Mode, which is a bummer since the community has been requesting these two features for a long time,

Thankfully, there’s more incoming in addition to that. Players can expect the PlayStation-exclusive quest “Haunted Hogsmeade Shop” to be available to everyone for free. There are also previously pre-order-exclusive items that will be available to all players such as the Onyx Hippogriff Mount, and other cosmetic items.

While the patch notes aren’t available yet (and we’re honestly not expecting any major gameplay changes), there’s also a new quality-of-life feature incoming that lets players reset their skill points at the cost of gold.

Here’s to hoping that after this, we’ll get more frequent content drops from Avalanche, though I’m not holding my breath. That said, if WB is looking to push a sequel in the future (and why wouldn’t they? The game sold like hot butterbeer), they might want to push out more content to convince people that even if it’s a single-player game, we’ll be getting more content outside of the main campaign.

The Summer Update is due in a few days’ time on June 6, and once it’s out, expect MP1st to post it ASAP.

If you haven’t played the game yet, go read our review here where we state, “I say this to the highest degree of praise possible when speaking about Avalanche Studios and Hogwarts Legacy. Avalanche Studios does for Harry Potter what Rocksteady did for Batman; a perfect match, delivering a genuine, authentic experience like no other.”

I wish they had scheduled dlc planned, kinda surprised considering the main menu has an option for additional content yet the only dlc available is the dark arts cosmetic dlc.
