Did the latest Forza Motorsport gameplay fail to tickle your fancy? If you’re looking for something a little more light-hearted, Mattel and Milestone have you covered. Unveiled today, the Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged DLC and post launch content roadmap breaks down all the free and paid DLC that racers can get their hands on in the months following the game’s October release.

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2 DLC and Post Launch Content Roadmap:
Here’s what we can expect from each of the two currently planned Season Passes:
Season Pass Volume 1
The first season pass will introduce five premium DLCs and two Expansion Packs, each of which will include four extra vehicles and a new environment for racers to speed through. Among the DLCs are a Fast X collaboration and a Honda Modern Classics Pack. The two Expansions are the AcceleRacers Expansion Pack, which is based on a straight-to-DVD series of Hot Wheels movies from 2005, and the Made in Italy Expansion Pack. We love to see AcceleRacers getting some love so many years later.
Season Pass Volume 1 will run from the game’s launch in October 2023 through February 2024.
Season Pass Volume 2
Following Season Pass Volume 1, the second season pass comes with four premium DLCs and another 2 Expansion Packs. This time around, the premium DLCs include a Monster Trucks Pack and a Mercedes-Benz Pack. We’re not quite sure how a monster truck will stack up against a sports car in a race, but I suppose the magic of Hot Wheels is that they can go as fast as they want.
The Expansion Packs for Season Pass Volume 2 include a Fast & Furious Expansion Pack and an Alien Encounters Expansion Pack. As we stated before, the Expansion Packs are slated to include new environments. We’re curious to see which Fast and Furious environment gets included in the DLC. Those movies have been everywhere, even space, so nothing is off the table.
The Deluxe Edition and Legendary Edition of the game include both season passes, and they’re already available for pre-order at this link. Mattel and Milestone also confirmed that additional free content will arrive for all game owners down the line.
