Crytek is celebrating the Hunt Showdown 4th Anniversary today, and along with it comes a plethora of new content in the form of Twitch Drops and more! Be part of the celebration by checking out a rundown of all the new stuff coming to the game below.

Fatih Özbayram, Interim Game Director for Hunt: Showdown, has said on the 4th Anniversary for Hunt Showdown:

“The whole team has worked really hard over the past four years to make Hunt a special experience for everyone. Every match tells a unique story, and that’s why people come back to the bayou again and again.”

“We’re constantly looking to keep the game fresh with updated content and events – over the past year we’ve added a new map and new boss, and held events including Light the Shadow and As the Crow Flies – and we can’t do that without our amazing and welcoming community. By putting players first and listening to what they want from Hunt, we’re able to create a gaming experience that is truly special.”

To celebrate the occasion, a new Twitch Drops campaign, which includes four Legendary Weapons and a Legendary Hunter, starts tomorrow (February 23^rd) at 3pm UTC and runs until 3pm UTC on Tuesday, March 1^st. Drops are open to all, so players simply need to watch their favourite Hunt: Showdown Twitch Streamer to start collecting free rewards.

Introducing New Legendary Hunter “Steel Eyed”

We have an extra special selection of rewards for you to earn during this event, and top of the tree is our new Legendary Hunter, “Steel Eyed,” a lost and lonesome outlaw who finds their skills at home in the bayou….

“Dust settles on the graves of the unwary, and the trail will eventually lead you to your death. This is the mantra of Red Descot, murmured through mountain passes, dry gullies, and blasted prairie. It was a lonesome journey, headed nowhere and running from everything. That was until the call to hunt came: the call for all Red’s grit and anguish to serve a higher purpose.”

• Drop 23rd Feb · Drop #1 watch for 90 mins and get the Martiny-Henry IC1 Riposte “Bingham Brash”
• Drop 24th Feb · Drop #2 watch for 90 mins and get the Schofield revolver “Ten Paces”
• Drop 25th Feb · Drop #3 watch for 90 mins and get the Springfield 1866 “Old Tusk”
• Drop 26th Feb- 1st March · Drop #4 Watch for 120 min (2 hours) between 26th – 1st March to get the Hunting Bow “Sinners Sinew”
• Drop 27th Feb – 1st March · Drop #5 after unlocking Drop #4 AND watching 180 min (3 hours) you can unlock the Legendary Hunter Louisiana Outlaw Steel Eyed.
