Hunt Showdown Update 1.50 Out This April 4, Crytek Warns of Kills Exploit

Hunt Showdown Update 1.50

Crytrek has released the Hunt Showdown update 1.50 patch for consoles today, and this has been deployed following the game’s maintenance period. This is to fix a few nagging issues and doesn’t add new content. In addition to that, the studio has also warned about a kills exploit happening right now, and doing it can lead to a ban.

Hunt Showdown Update 1.50 Patch Notes | Hunt Showdown April 4 Patch Notes:

Here’s the announcement from Crytek (via Twitter):

Console Hunters,

The Servers are now back online including a Hotfix!

The Hotfix includes a fix for the turning extra strength issues reported as well as multiple other bugs.

Happy Hunting!

In addition ot that, here’s more info on the exploit happening right now, and Crytek’s warning (via Twitter):

Hunters,

We have detected an exploitable bug that rewards players with unearned kills after completing Hunt matches. We are currently working on a fix to resolve this issue, while looking into resetting and correcting the un-earned kills on players’ profile as soon as possible.

Please note, that continuing to purposefully abuse this bug will result in a temporary or permanent ban of users’ account on a case by case basis.

We’re uncertain whether this fix is a server-side fix or an actual patch. Once we know more, we’ll let our readers know.
