Immortals of Aveum Delayed to August 22 for Further Polish and to Deliver a “Strong Launch”

Immortals of Aveum Delayed

Those looking forward to Immortals to Aveum this July, you’ll have to wait a few weeks more to get your magic fix, as Ascendant Studios has announced that Immortals of Aveum has been delayed to August 22!

This announcement was accompanied by a letter from game director Brett Robbins who said that the push back will help the team polish the game and deliver a “strong launch.”

Here’s an excerpt of the announcement:

The recent feedback to the game proves to us what we already felt: that Immortals of Aveum is something special. In order to realize our full vision, we are going to take a few extra weeks, making our new launch date Tuesday, August 22nd. This will give us time to further polish the game, finish optimizing all platforms, and deliver a strong launch. We owe it to ourselves and to you to get this right.

While that’s a bummer, it’s definitely a good delay in my book, as I’d rather have a more polished game than one that’s riddled with bugs and issues at launch.

Immortals of Aveum, will now be released this August 22 on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
