Velan Studios has rolled out the Knockout City update 4.000.001 patch this December 10, and this is exclusive to the PlayStation 5! Read on for the official patch notes below.

At the time of writing, Velan Studios has not yet revealed the patch notes for this latest update. However, they have recognized an issue that is ongoing for the PlayStation 5, which you can read below from their official Discord server:

PS5 and Switch Crash

Some players have experienced a Crash on PS5 and Switch which happened when they downloaded the update to 4.0. The current theory is that this crash will happen if players somehow have Performance Mode selected on PS5 when they aren’t connected to a 120Hz TV.

Potential workarounds:

• Run on PS5 w/ 120Hz TV, change setting to Quality Mode. With luck, you should then be able to run PS5 on a non-120Hz TV.
• Downgrade on PS5 to the PS4 version
• Run on Switch in Quality Mode
• We are currently tracking this issue and will let you know when we have more information.
