Krispy Kreme Compensating PlayStation Gamers for PSN Server Outages With Free Donut

While PlayStation continues to remain silent on the status of its servers, which appear to be slowly coming back online, many have wondered if the publisher plans to compensate players for the PSN outages. Though we think it’ll be unlikely, one company is stepping up ahead of Sony with some freebies.
That company? None other than Krispy Kreme, as they’re giving free donuts today to gamers affected by the outage.

In case anyone’s been living under a rock these past 24 hours, the PlayStation Network is down. However, as of the last hour, things appear to be slowly coming back, as features such as store access (don’t recommend buying anything), trophy list, library, friends list, and other account management features appear to be accessible. Look, free is free, though sadly for me, we haven’t had a Krispy Kreme in my state of Minnesota for over 20 years now. I’m not sure if it’s even worth a drive to get it, even if there was one here, but, hey, at least someone is showing they care. It really isn’t that hard to send out a status update every now and then, PlayStation; even if it’s good, anything is better than nothing!
Have things improved for those who have recently tried to check if the network is up?
