Riot Games has quite a few changes in store for League of Legends’ Pre-Season and Ranked mode, and today, the studio lifted the lid on what gamers should expect to be changed in the coming future.

League of Legends Pre-Season and Ranked Changes:

  • Starting in 2024, League will move to three separate Ranked splits per year.

  • Preseason game changes will be shifting to the start of Ranked in 2024.

  • There are a number of exciting changes planned for Preseason, including changes to items, objectives and the Summoner’s Rift map.

  • The Mythic Item System is going away, though some items players have come to love will stay.

  • Ranked is staying open through November and December.

  • Arena is going offline with the Soul Fighter event, but is getting improvements and will be back in December.

  • The Modes Team is exploring features like new augments, improved champion viability, map adjustments, and ways to play with more than just one friend.which
