Trials are coming to The Elder Scrolls Online with the introduction of the new “Craglorn” Adventure Zone.
Essentially, Trials are 12-player, Veteran PvE boss raids that will take experienced groups an hour to an hour and a half to complete. Each Trial is a high-difficulty encounter that requires careful planning, strategizing, and mastery of combat skills. The kicker? Groups tackling any given Trial will only have a limited number of resurrections available. But those who do withstand the weekly challenge – with one of the top times across the megaserver- will gain additional awards.
“Trials also feature the most complex and difficult encounters we’ve designed so far,” writes developer Zenimax in a recent blog update. “They demand skill, adaptability, and coordination from every member of the group. We know you’ll be challenged by them, but we faced some hurdles to overcome while developing them, too.”

The Elder Scrolls Online is now out on PC and Mac, coming later to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in June.
