Madden 23‘s been having some issues with its Franchise mode recently, and it looks like players are still having trouble accessing CFM this December 29.
Issues arose a few days ago when players could not access CFM, and EA tweeted that they were aware of the problem. Here’s the latest announcement from the dev team:
Franchise Update:
The team is aware of players experiencing connection issues when trying to connect to CFM. We have been and will continue to investigate this and will update this thread once we have more to share. Thank you!

Franchise Update:
We are aware of users encountering issues when connecting to CFM late last night. We have begun to investigate and will update this thread once we know more.
A follow-up tweet posted yesterday claimed that the issues were resolved, but EA recently backtracked and stated that they are still aware of CFM connection issues as of a few hours ago.

This whole ordeal is still under EA’s investigation, and we have yet to hear from them regarding any updates.
While waiting for EA to fix the connection problems, consider reading our review on Madden 23, where we state “Madden NFL 23 has some good new ideas, but is mostly more of the same. The graphics and presentation are fine, but only just. The football appears to have a mind of its own sometimes, while commentators don’t always have a response to the on-field action that makes sense. If Franchise mode is where you spend your time, then you are likely to enjoy the changes. Outside of that, though, Madden 23 feels awfully familiar.”
Once we get more news from EA, we’ll update the post.
