Marathon Price, Game Editions, Weapons, and More Leaked
Following a closed alpha test that received mixed feedback, Bungie had delayed its upcoming shooter, Marathon, with no new release date yet. The news came after the studio faced also some backlash for using art in early builds that seemed to copy work from an independent artist.
Now, a new leak is giving fans something exciting to look forward to, this time revealing details about the game’s pricing, editions, season pass, weapons, and pre-order bonuses.
Marathon Leak Reveals $40 Base Price, Deluxe Edition, Season Pass, and 28 Launch Weapons

According to a leaker known as Colony Deaks on X (formerly Twitter), Marathon will reportedly launch at a base price of $40 and the Deluxe Edition at around $60.
The Deluxe bundle is said to include roughly $30 worth of “season pass tokens,” though it’s still unclear what the purpose of these tokens is. As for the Season Pass, it is expected to be priced at around $10 and focus only on cosmetic rewards, avoiding any pay-to-win mechanics.
The leak also mentions cross-promotional pre-order bonuses linked to Destiny 2. Players who pre-order Marathon will reportedly receive themed Destiny 2 cosmetics including a Destiny ship, Ghost, and Sparrow, while Marathon players will get a pink pistol skin, emblem, profile background, and decal.
The leaker also claimed that the game will feature 28 weapons, although this number is subject to change:

$40 for a game that should be free and is only a single game mode (extraction?) So basically once it flops and goes offline in 6 months, it is $40 down the drain… Hard pass. It either needs to be a free game at least for PS+ members or make it more than a stupid extraction game. I wish it was just a remake of the actual Marathon game, not just using its title and slapping it on a totally different game. It’s like calling Mario Kart something like Destiny 3…
