After weeks of speculations on whether or not a new Marvel Vs. Capcom game was in the works, has now been officially confirmed thanks to this year’s PlayStation Experience.

Which the announcement trailer that you can view above, showcases what you can expect when Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite launches sometime next year such as the inclusion of Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, Mega Man and of course Ryu. Though, it also appears Capcom is dialing it back a bit as Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite appears to focus on 2v2 fights like the original title.

Judging from the trailer, it appears that an old mechanic from one the very first Marvel fighting games is coming back. This, of course, appears to be the use of the Infinity gems in some way.

Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite is set to be available for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in 2017.
