Marvel’s Blade Game Sneak Peek at Character Design Surfaces
Announced 10 months ago, Marvel’s Blade game which is being developed by Arkane (Dishonored, Deathloop) has been absent form the limelight so far. While nothing major has been revealed today, we do get a fresh peek at the game’s character designs.
This is courtesy of Arkane’s 25th anniversary post on the official Bethesda website where Art Creative Director Sébastien Mitton reminisced about the studio’s history. While the studio did acknowledge that Blade is their current project, no new info on the title has been brought forward.
Here’s the image released by the studio today:

More concept art for the game was released in December of last year, which you can check out here. Surprisingly, in this age of leaks, nothing about the Daywalker’s debut game for current-gen hardware has seeped from the cracks. All we know from it is courtesy of Bethesda’s official statement about it:
In Marvel’s Blade, Eric Brooks is the legendary Daywalker, half-man, half-vampire torn between the warm society of the living and the rushing power of the undead. From Bethesda and Arkane Lyon, the studio that brought you Dishonored and “DEATHLOOP”, Marvel’s Blade is a mature, single-player, third-person game set in the heart of Paris, now in development in collaboration with Marvel Games.
Marvel’s Blade is targeting a 2025 release, though Microsoft remains mum whether the game is coming to PS5 or not. Given Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which was once the big Xbox exclusive console warriors can parade in front of their PS5 owning friends, is now confirmed to be hitting Sony’s console just a few months after its release later this year. Will Marvel’s Blade follow suit? We wouldn’t be surprised if it did given Xbox boss Phil Spencer’s recent stance on releasing on competing platforms.
