One more week left until the release of Mass Effect Legendary Edition, but before that, BioWare released a breakdown of performance expectations detailing resolution and framerate per platform. For those who own an Xbox Series X, the game can run up to 120fps (frames-per-second) if you prefer that.
Below are the varying ranges of quality and framerate, as published on the Electronic Arts page:
- Favor Quality prioritizes achieving the highest visual fidelity possible in exchange for a lower target framerate.
- Favor Framerate prioritizes the highest framerate possible by scaling native resolution and reducing some graphical features.

- Supports up to 240fps, with supporting refresh rates to 240.
- Capable to tweak graphic options for preferred graphics and performance
PS4
- Favor Quality: Up to 30fps @ 1080p
- Favor Framerate: Up to 60fps @ 1080p
PS4 Pro
- Favor Quality: Up to 30fps @ 4K UHD
- Favor Framerate: Up to 60fps @ 1440p
