SIE San Diego Studio has once again released a new patch for MLB The Show 21! For those keeping score, this is the fourth patch in seven days for the baseball sim. The MLB The Show 21 update 1.08 patch is out now for current and next-gen (PS5 01.008.00), and as one might expect, contains more fixes.
MLB The Show 21 Update 1.08 May 15 Patch Notes:
Here’s the official message from the studio:
We have a small update and server restart at 4 AM PT on 5/15/21.
This update will fix the graphical oddities in Humphrey Metrodome.
Please complete all games prior to that time. Thank you.
For those curious, we’ve also included the fixes from update 1.07, and 1.06 below, too.
This is a small update that fixes a bug that would cause classic stands in created stadiums to disappear, leaving the fans floating in midair.
This is a small update that fixes a few issues causing missing skin textures, clipping helmets, and a crash in Road to the Show.
Will we get a new patch in a few days yet again? If we ever do, we’ll make sure to let our readers know. If you find anything gameplay-related in the patch, let us know what you find down in the comments.
