Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone: Community Frustrated as Game Suffers Major Issues After Latest Patch

Modern Warfare 3 Season 1 Reloaded Issues

Just yesterday, Sledgehammer Games released the big Season 1 Reloaded patch for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone. While this introduced a slew of new content, it has — unfortunately — also introduced a slew of new issues.

Multiple players of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone have pointed out the multitude of issues this new patch has brought to the game. Reddit user Femmin0V has even listed some of it:

  • Game boots back to menu every time you try and save a custom mod
  • Placeholder text on multiple mods for the new weapon (disgraceful)
  • Broken battle pass sector (edit: fixed)
  • Freezes in between showing battle pass and xp after a match
  • Bipods showing up in the trigger section
  • Mislabelled challenge requirements (again, disgraceful)
  • Green “new item” dot won’t disappear
  • Various bugs to do with addons on the new LMG (incl 5.56 rounds being available in 7.62 belts and invisible mods that take up a slot)

Even content creators like Modern Warzone have pointed out some of the new bugs that have surfaced after the latest patch.

Most of these issues have been acknowledged by Sledgehammer, and the studio has been tweeting the entire day on what bugs they are aware of, and which ones got fixed. Thankfully, the fetching data loop issue has been resolved.

You can see how busy the official COD Updates Twitter account has been since yesterday’s patch roll out.

While Sledgehammer Games is pushing out server-side updates for the issues, don’t be surprised if a client-side patch is released soon.

One big thing that was suppose to launch yesterday was Ranked Play, which, thankfully, is now live. You can read up on the mode’s rewards and details here.
