It’s almost time, people! The Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 beta is almost upon us, and as is the case every year, MP1st is here to give a ton away! The Modern Warfare 3 beta code giveaway starts now on the site, our Twitter and Facebook pages too.
How to get one? Super simple. Just leave a comment below and tell us whether you want to see a monthly (or weekly) giveaway where we hand out prizes for top plays or just amazing gaming moments. It doesn’t have to be Call of Duty or a multiplayer game, either. If you don’t think that’s a good idea, leave a suggestion. Best answers win, and we’ll email the person who got a code via the email address they used to comment.
This giveaway is for any platform, and is open to any region.
Redemption instructions:
- Please go to www.callofduty.com/betaredeem to redeem your Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III code.
- You must then login/create a Call of Duty® account and select your gaming platform and region.
- You will know your code is valid if you’re redirected to the success page.
- The success page will confirm that you are registered for the Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® III Open Beta but will not provide a platform-specific code to download the Beta
- A platform-specific code will be emailed to users at a later date closer to when the Open Beta begins.
Here’s the Modern Warfare 3 beta schedule.
Weekend One – PlayStation Exclusive
- Available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, the first Beta weekend is scheduled to begin on Friday, October 6 at 10 A.M. PT and end on Tuesday, October 10 at 10 A.M. PT.
- PlayStation Early Access: Those who preordered the game on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, can begin playing the Beta on Friday, October 6 at 10 AM PT.
- PlayStation Open Beta: The rest of the weekend, from Sunday, October 8 at 10 AM PT to Tuesday, October 10 at 10 AM PT, is accessible to all PlayStation players regardless of preorder status.
Weekend Two – Crossplay
- The second Beta weekend is for all platforms, and is scheduled to begin on Thursday, October 12 at 10 A.M. PT and end on Monday, October 16 at 10 A.M. PT.
- PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5: This is a free Open Beta weekend for all PlayStation 4 and 5 owners, regardless of their pre-order status.
- Xbox and PC Early Access: Those who preordered the game for Xbox Series X | S or on Xbox One, or who pre-purchased for PC via Battle.net or Steam, can begin playing the Beta on Thursday, October 12 at 10 AM PT.
- Xbox and PC Open Beta: The rest of the weekend, from Thursday, October 12 at 10 A.M. PT and ending on Monday, October 16 at 10 A.M. PT, is accessible to Xbox and PC players regardless of their preorder status.

I think you should do weekly. You should do both, top plays and amazing game moments, because who doesn’t love to see those top plays and those totally random 1 in a million things happen. Game respect game.

Personally, I think Monthly would be better, this would allow for bigger prizes given the frequency being less and allow for more varied clips to stack up, on the downside some clips may get lost, however for those going for them, they can have more time in doing so and as a result, more clips will bring more competition when being evaluated on a monthly basis. Overall, it will be a good opportunity to showcase clips from a variety of games within this time frame. I do think there should be a way to showcase honourable mentions as well for more clips to be seen in general and for more people to get their name out there, even if they don’t win, having that will be a good moment for them too to be showcased as a honourable mention. Hope this helps and is good feedback regarding the clips and giveaway structure currently being planned!

I like the idea of monthly clips because it’ll be quality over quantity and give it room to breathe.
I wouldn’t mind clips of hilarious glitches or bugs also being included or having a category in the monthly post. I still go back and watch pubg montage videos of the hilarious glitches and circumstances from its early days.
I would definitely check out a monthly post with cool/amazing clips and hilarious glitches as well.

Maybe monthly and like the seasons to multiplayer games think that be dope.
Monthly, hopefully allowing for more games to have their clips shared, overall a month will mean more people submitting rather then weekly

Running a giveaway for 2 weeks (14 days) is generally the best giveaway running time. It gives you plenty of time to secure entries, and it isn’t so long that users will forget about you. Having your giveaway last for 2 weeks is actually the most popular choice for many thanks 🙏🙏

Weekly would be better for MW3 as I’m sure there will be a whole lot of top plays.
i would personally prefer annual giveaways, as it would probably mean a better prize and it would reach a broader audience.

I think an even better alternative would be bi-weekly top plays or amazing moments. The following is my opinion as to why:
Monthly is too drawn out and could put a lot of stress on you guys to filter through all the submissions and that long a period between could lose interest.
Weekly is too rushed and may feature plays on a slow week that are submitted but not any good, however have to be used due to low submissions.
Bi-weekly just feels like a comfortable medium between the two.

Monthly sounds like a good idea.
To expand a little, monthly would give you time to examine all the submissions and maybe do like a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prize for the winners.
I would say weekly and maybe have two categories. One for plays of the week and the other for crazy in game moments. Such as random funny one in a million chance encounters, or random over the top moments you just happen to witness. We all know we have those “you wouldn’t believe me” moments all the time playing multiplayer.
