MultiVersus Update 1.36 for Patch 1.07 Shoots Out for Rift Changes and More This July 11

MultiVersus Update 1.36

Player First has released MultiVersus update 1.36 (PS5 version 1.036), which is tagged as developer version 1.07. While this doesn’t bring in any new content, it does bring changes to Rifts and balance changes as well.

General Bugfixes

  • Fixed an issue preventing characters from being able to branch into their neutral dodge from other actions
  • Fixed an issue where some players were seeing a “Matchmaking failed” message erroneously
  • Fixed an issue where players who were partied up would sometimes be sent to non-optimal server locations

Rifts

Techno Terror Rift

  • Node 10b
    • Player lives increased from 2 to 3

Age of Smith Rift

  • Node 7
    • Reflect damage mutator removed
    • Batman ally added

The Megalodog Rift

  • Node 4a
    • Banana Guard ally added
    • One additional player life added
  • Node 9a
    • Banana Guard ally added
    • One additional player life added
    • Difficulty scaling reduced 30%
  • Node 6b-9b
    • One additional player life added in each node
    • Difficulty scaling reduced 30%

Agent Smith

  • General
    • ~ Jump frame data and input requirements standardized to match the cast
  • Ground Side Attack 1
    • – On-hit jump branch window delayed 12 frames

Iron Giant

  • Rage Mode Ground Down Attack 
    • * Fixed an issue where the repeat-move lockout was not applying correctly
  • Rage Mode Air/Ground Up Special
    • – Knockback reduced to 1800 from 2150
    • ~ Now only hits enemy fighters one time instead of vacuuming fighters into the final hit
    • ~ All three hits now deal the same knockback and damage as the final hit

Taz

  • “Iron Stomach” Perk
    • * Fixed an issue where Taz could not pick up his own anvil
