While Naughty Dog boss Neil Druckmann already confirmed a few months ago that the studio was working on multiple projects, the studio chief now confirmed that these are single-player titles as well.

In a feature on the game director by the LA Times, Druckmann re-affirmed that there are “numerous games” in the works, and that these include “multiple single-player projects.” Understandably, Druckmann didn’t offer more details outside of that. Having said that, Druckmann also mentioned, “I promise you, we will not be ‘The Last of Us’ studio forever.”

Speaking of the The Last of Us franchise, Druckmann himself also confirmed that Part 3 of the franchise is being developed, which shouldn’t surprise anyone.

What could Naughty Dog be developing? Could we perhaps be getting another entry in the Uncharted franchise? I wouldn’t say no to that. What if the studio brings back Jak & Daxter? Or what if the studio digs up its archives and revives the Way of the Warrior game? Yeah, probably not that but let your mind wander what Neil and the rest of the dogs are developing now outside of The Last of Us Part 3. What we do know the studio isn’t working on is the multiplayer for The Last of Us 2, as that was confirmed cancelled a few months ago.
