NBA 2K23 Season 6 Rewards, Patch Notes and New Content Listed

NBA 2K23 Season 6 is all set to begin later this week on April 7, and Visual Concepts has now revealed the new content and changes coming to the game with the upcoming season. Season 6 will feature new thematic content, a second Core Badge Patterns package, additional rewards, and new fashion collaborations for MyCAREER, as well as the return of Hero Cards and more! NBA 2K23 Season 6 Rewards, Patch Notes, New Content & More:

MyCAREER:

NBA 2K23 Season 6

In anticipation of the NBA Playoffs, the courts and surroundings have been stylized with new thematic artwork in both the City (New Gen) and the G.O.A.T. Boat (Current Gen). Season 6 includes new rewards throughout the reward ladder, including a Jetpack with new animations at Level 30 and a Glider at Level 40 for New Gen players. Meanwhile, Current Gen players will be able to unlock a GOAT Mascot instead at Level 40.

NBA 2K23 will include apparel from brands Homage and MAYDE, whose designs can be checked out at SWAG’s. Finally, a second Core Badge Patterns package is also arriving as the Level 39 reward:

  • 2 Finishing, 1 Shooting, 1 Defense
  • 2 Shooting, 1 Finishing, 1 Defense
  • 2 Playmaking, 1 Finishing, 1 Shooting
  • 2 Defense, 1 Shooting, 1 Playmaking

MyTEAM:

NBA 2K23 Season 6

Hero Cards are returning to MyTEAM, and a Ruby-rated Shaquille O’Neal Hero Card will be available as the Level 1 reward through simply entering the MyTEAM Season Menu. This card can uniquely be evolved into a Diamond-tier card by completing its Evolution requirements. At Level 40, players will be rewarded with a 99 Dark Matter Hakeem Olajuwon card, available only during the first six weeks of the season. Season 6 will also feature the return of the Holographic, Unicorn, and Fire Basketball Cards, which can be earned by using Hero Cards.

At Season Level 2, players will be rewarded with a Ruby-tier Sue Bird Coach Card, with a more powerful version of her card available as well. Over 25 new WNBA Coach Cards are being added with the new season, including a Pink Diamond-tier Sue Bird. Additionally, her Signature Challenge will have players face off against Stephen Curry, Dwayne Wade, Michael Jordan, LeBron James, and Shaquille O’Neal, with Diamond Shoe Boosts, a Diamond Shoe Colorway, and a Hall of Fame badge as rewards.

Here are the changes for the current-gen versions (PS5, Xbox Series X|S):

GENERAL

• Preparations for NBA 2K23 Season 6, launching on Friday, April 7th, at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM BST. Stay tuned for what we have in store!
• The “RM” stripe to honor former owner Red McCombs has been added to the San Antonio Spurs uniforms
• The “19” stripe to honor Willis Reed has been added to the New York Knicks uniforms
• The number color on the Los Angeles Lakers alternate uniforms has been corrected
• Resolved an issue with the Sacramento Kings crowd causing some fans to have the incorrect team logo on the back of their shirts

• The following players have had general likeness updates or adjustments made:

  • Precious Achiuwa (dynamic hair update)
  • Bol Bol (dynamic hair update)
  • Anthony Davis (dynamic hair update)
  • Aaron Gordon (dynamic hair update)

• The following historic players have received new or updated sculpts:

GAMEPLAY

• Fixed an issue that was allowing players to double-dribble after a pump fake without a violation called during 1v1 games

MyCAREER/CITY

• Continued improvements to performance and stability have been made to enhance the overall experience in the City
• Addressed an issue that could cause losing teams to get stuck in the Event Center when an event ends
• Fixed a timing issue with the “It’s a Cole World” quest that could prevent it from being completed in rare circumstances
• The requirements to play games on the Dreamer Park court have been clarified to ensure all players know how to access them
• The Commentary Language option can now be adjusted from within MyCAREER mode
• Favorited clothing items will no longer appear at the end of the inventory list

MyTEAM/MyNBA/THE W

• Continued stability fixes and improvements have been made for MyTEAM, MyNBA, MyNBA Online, and The W.

Does 2k23 have the playoff atmosphere this year?? The courts,crowd and etc like the real life playoff’s like they had a couple of years ago on 2k.
