It looks like NBA 2K24 is the latest game to feature a “Battle Pass” system of sorts, as Visual Concepts has announced the NBA 2K24 Season Pass which comes in three flavors.
There’s the Pro Pass, the Hall of Fame Pass (costs a whopping $20) and the free tier. Same as in every other game that uses a Battle Pass, there will be a reward track that players will run through and earn rewards from. Read on for the full info.
in NBA 2K24, the seasonal progression of MyTeam and MyCareer will now be combined into one linear rewards system. Players will be able to earn a free reward from both modes each time a player reaches a new level in the basketball sim.
Here’s an explanation from Visual Concepts:
For example, if you decide to start your NBA 2K24 journey playing MyTEAM and then switch over to play a few games in MyCAREER, your progression to Level 40 will continue across the same progression track! Reach Level 40 in MyCAREER and you will not only unlock the Level 40 reward for MyCAREER, but you will also unlock the Level 40 reward for MyTEAM as well! However, you want to play, the choice is yours!
NBA 2K24 Season Pass Contents, Pricing and Tiers:
Pro Pass ($9.99)*
- Access to 40 additional earnable premium rewards
- Four additional Season Pass Rewards (separate from the reward track)
Hall of Fame Pass ($19.99)*
- Includes everything in the Pro Pass
- 15% XP Booster applied throughout the Season
- 10 Level Skips immediately applied to the Season reward track
Season Pass will be accompanied by 2 additional options:
- Pass Upgrade ($10) – Allowing players who purchased the Pro Pass to upgrade to the Hall of Fame Pass (10 Level Skips will be consumed immediately after purchase and progress a player 10 levels beyond the level they are when purchase is made)
- Level Skips ($1.99) – Allowing you to advance by 1 Level in a Season (Level Skips are immediately consumed upon purchase. A player cannot purchase more than the total levels they have left to progress.)

Do I Have to Get the Pro Pass or Hall of Fame Pass to Receive Rewards?
There are 80 rewards across MyCAREER and MyTEAM in each Season that are earnable for free. The Pro Pass unlocks 44 additional premium rewards- 40 rewards earned through gameplay and four rewards automatically applied to your NBA 2K account. The Hall of Fame Pass includes everything in the Pro Pass, plus unlocks 10 Level Skips (applied immediately), a 15% XP Booster that is applied throughout the Season, and one additional reward automatically applied to your NBA 2K account).
How do I earn XP in MyCAREER?
XP is earned through playing games in The City/The Neighborhood, getting good teammate grades, winning games, and performance!
How do I earn XP in MyTEAM?
XP is earned through playing games and completing Dynamic Goals.
How Long are Seasons?
Seasons are six weeks long! The following Season will typically start Friday 8AM PT, the day the prior Season ends (7:59AM PT).
Do I Get to Keep the Reward I’ve claimed After the Season Ends?
The rewards that you earn in a Season will remain in your NBA 2K account and available for you to use after the Season ends. (15% XP Booster will expire at the end of the Season in which it was acquired)
Can I Purchase Level Skips?
Level Skips can be purchased directly from the Season Rewards menu. Once the level skip has been purchased, it is immediately applied to a player’s NBA 2K Account. A player cannot purchase more than the total levels they have left to progress in the current Season.

If I purchase the Season Pass After reaching Level 20 do I get to redeem rewards for levels I’ve already completed?
If you purchase the Pro Season Pass or Hall of Fame Pass after you reach a certain level, all rewards that are entitled for completing levels will be automatically applied to your NBA 2K account. The 15% XP Booster starts the moment you upgrade to the Hall of Fame Pass.
Can I purchase or earn Season Pass rewards from a Previous Season?
Season rewards from a past Season cannot be earned or purchased in a new Season.
Can I keep leveling up my Season Pass after the season ends?
No, Season Pass reward progress ends at the conclusion of the Season. Season Pass rewards and progress refresh with every season.
Where can I see the current Season’s rewards?
The rewards available in each Season can be seen in-game when you enter the Season Rewards menu.
Where can I check my Season progression?
You can check your Season progression when you enter the Season Rewards menu. The progress made during a Season will reset at the end of each Season.
