Need for Speed Unbound “Meetups” and “Side Bets” Revealed in New Trailer

Need For Speed Unbound M

EA and Criterion revealed gameplay footage of their upcoming racing game, Need for Speed Unbound. The video showcases NFS Unbound’s stylized look, with flashy effects that make your vehicle speed through streets and highways in style.

NFS Unbound is the latest game in the Need for Speed series, and this newest addition to the franchise introduces both gameplay and performance improvements. Meetups will let players bet money in underground races. You can even spectate the matches, participating via Side Bets. This allows players to participate in races (and make money on the side) even if they’re not behind the wheel themselves. You will also be able to play the game at 4K resolution and 60 FPS on launch, a first in the series.

In Need for Speed Unbound, meetups are an underground scene where players can meet up with other street racers to show off their style, custom rides and put their hard earned money on the line. Each meetup gives players the ability to organize races, earn cash for wins and explore new areas of Lakeshore City. Sideline spectators can also participate in the race by placing Side Bets and putting it all on the line for their favorite racer.

Need for Speed Unbound comes this December 2 on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
