Criterion has released Need for Speed Unbound update 1.000.005, and this is a small download, and given the game just got released, don’t expect much from it. Read on for the NFS Unbound December 12 patch notes.

Update: EA has relayed what’s in the patch, and as one might expect, it’s nothing major. Here’s the message from Community Manager “EA_David” over on the EA Answers forums for the game:

Hey NFS Unbound players,

On Dec 12, 2022 at 1AM PT / 9AM UTC / 10AM CET, we’ll be deploying a required update for all platforms.

This update will not require downtime, but you will be required to download and install the update the next time you launch the game.

This update is a small update to address stability issues regarding crashing across all platforms and to resolve some bugs with entitlements.

Currently, Criterion has not released the official patch notes just yet, but don’t be surprised if this patches out some of the known unlimited money glitches floating about.
