NetEase Games’ Blood Message Gets a New Story Trailer
NetEase Games has showcased the “Hold Till Dawn” story trailer for their upcoming game, Blood Message, during the Summer Game Fest 2026.
Announced one year ago, Blood Message is a AAA action-adventure game built in Unreal Engine 5. It is one of NetEase’s most important new projects, and the company seems to be putting a lot of focus on it.
Blood Message’s “Hold Till Dawn” Trailer Revealed at Summer Game Fest
The game tells an epic story about loyalty and survival. Players join the Dunhuang uprising and take control of a nameless messenger and his young son in a third-person action adventure.
“Caught in the crossfire of a righteous uprising and driven by loyalty to both family and country, players will embark on a perilous eastward journey to deliver a message that holds the fate of their war-torn homeland.”

- Visceral, realistic combat blending stealth and survival mechanics
- A deeply emotional journey exploring themes of family, honor, sacrifice, and cultural identity
