Focus Home Entertainment has revealed a new A Plague Tale: Requiem’s story trailer ahead of the game’s October launch. The new trailer revolves mainly around Hugo and shows that her sister, Amecia would go to any length to try and save him. Several biomes of A Plague Tale: Requiem are showcased in the trailer including a beautiful and vibrant island. Check out the story trailer here:

A Plague Tale: Requiem, the sequel to the critically acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence by Asobo Studio and Focus Entertainment, just unveiled more narrative elements in a Story Trailer.

As Amicia and Hugo set out to find a mysterious island in the hope of ending the curse which runs through Hugo’s blood, they find themselves having to rely on the help of the people they meet. Walking into foreign territory, the young De Runes are unlikely to make it alone… but how much trust can they place in strangers? The answer seems as uncertain as the island is beautiful and terrifying.

Last week, we learned that A Plague Tale will have a runtime of about 15-18 hours with no filler content, and the devs also talked about taking advantage of the DualSense controller. A Plague Tale: Requiem launches on October 18 for Xbox Series, PS5, and PC. It will launch day one on Xbox Game Pass. Pre-orders for A Plague Tale Requiem are also live.
