Rare’s pirate MMO Sea of Thieves has become a massive success since its launch. Each of its numerous seasonal updates has overhauled game systems, added new content, and has fleshed out Sea of Thieves’ player experience. Now, Xbox has unveiled Sea of Thieves Season 7, Captains of Adventure.

As the game’s trailer quickly establishes in musical fashion, Sea of Thieves season 7 is all about becoming a captain. The season looks like it will bring many new mechanics with it, with the biggest being able to further customize your ships. Players will be able to create ship loadouts, nape them, and even customize the interior of their ships with items and themes that they earn through gameplay.

The season also introduces a new Cash Point system that will allow players to turn in their rewards easier than ever before. Like all previous updates, Season 7 is completely free for all players to download and experience, expanding the game’s offerings for its massive player base.
