Bungie has just announced the next Destiny 2 showcase will take place in just over a month on August 23, 2022. The studio encourages players to save the date and promises big reveals for the franchise.

The release date of the showcase announcement was accompanied by some footage highlighting key moments from Destiny 2’s Light and Darkness saga.

It is worth noting that this will be Bungie’s first-ever showcase for Destiny 2 as an official first-party studio for PlayStation. The deal was just recently closed on July 16, 2022, and PlayStation celebrated the news with a tweet welcoming Bungie to the PlayStation family.

Ahead of the next Destiny 2 Showcase, players will also want to check out the most recent weekly reset for July 19, 2022. The reset, as usual, has refreshed the in-game activities as well as the Eververse inventory of items for sale.

Destiny 2 is now available for download on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, GeForce Now, and on PC via Steam.
