Pokémon fans desperately waiting for the new Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet games have been treated with a big surprise by Nintendo, as the company has announced that it will be releasing a new Pokémon Scarlet & Violet-themed special edition of its Nintendo Switch console’s OLED version, available November 4 at MSRP $359.99.

Nintendo released a new trailer showing us the vibrant colors of the reskin and rendered footage from the games, which can be seen below:

The colorful design includes illustrations of the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon in their version colors on a glossy white dock. The three starter Pokémon in the games — Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly — are displayed upon the back of the system along with in-game symbols. The Joy-Con controllers are colored scarlet and violet matching the games, and display the Naranja and Uva Academy crests respectively.

The reskinned console will come out earlier than the games’ release date of November 18. The reskin will be limited to the OLED version of the Switch. 

Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet will be sold separately for MSRP $59.99 each.
