EA has released the first official Dead Space remake screenshots as part of the game’s Xbox Store listing that went live today, alongside other info about the upcoming horror revival.

Check out the Dead Space remake screenshots below, which we got straight from the Xbox Store:

In addition to the screenshots, the game’s official store description lists down some of the features as well. However, before diving into that, we noticed that the store mentions that the game will feature “in-app purchases,” suggesting that microtransactions will be available for the single-player game.

Here’s a screenshot of it:

Note that the first game’s console version also featured in-game purchases in the form of DLC of new skins and upgrades for various weapons, though we honestly expected those to be part of the base game for the remake. In addition to that, the Xbox Live Marketplace also featured a bunch of Dead Space themed items for your Xbox avatar too.

Here is the game’s official description via the Xbox Store:

In other Dead Space remake news, Motive Studio revealed yesterday that they are creating the game to be in one sequential shot, which is different way of telling the story from the original version.
