Once Human Major Update Out in September, Exceeds 230,000 Concurrent Players
NetEase’s latest open-world survival game Once Human seems to be a big hit among players, as the company has announced some of its major milestones since it launched this July 9, as well as what’s coming next for the players.
In the press release sent out, NetEase announced that the Once Human concurrent player count peaked at over 230,000, which translated to securing the fifth spot in Steam’s Most Played charts, and seventh for the Top Sellers category. In terms of the community, the game’s Discord channel now has over 500,000 members.
While numbers are well and good, NetEase has more to share, and that’s Once Human’s major update incoming this September! Read on for the details.

- New PvP gameplay scenario featuring confrontations between the main camps in the game.
- New PvE scenario with a new north mountain region
- New Monsters
- New Challenges
There’s no release date for the update revealed just yet, and chances are, this patch will also include gameplay adjustments and whatnot.
