A new action RPG titled “Wayfinder” was just announced at The Game Awards 2022. It’s a character-based action game that revolves around looting materials and gearing up your character.

The game revolves around your character using a device known as a Gloom Dagger, and this lets you take on adventures that are different each time, hinting at rogue-like elements.

Customize every play experience by stepping through a doorway of endless adventures with the help of a mysterious device known as a Gloom Dagger. Each adventure has unique modifiers and challenges you conjure and control, customizing what you hunt, and gather.

There are currently five known Wayfinders, each with their own unique playstyle. These range from the armor-clad Wingrave to the arcane-wielding Kyros.

The game will feature a lot of exploration, yielding materials that you can use to become even stronger. It’s also also made for co-op, allowing you to fight alongside friends and even build houses in neighborhoods. 

Wayfinders are stronger together. From adventuring with friends to adding your house and its powerful buffs to a neighborhood, all of your social interactions, character and housing progression are tied together by the most important thread… each other.

Wayfinder has yet to have an official release date, but you can sign up for the closed beta here if you’re interested. The beta is available on PS4, PS5, and PC.
