Following Bastion and Torbjorn’s recent pull out by Blizzard Entertainment (Torbjorn can still be played in Quick Play), it looks like a map is being pulled this time. Blizzard has announced that Junkertown has been disabled in all game modes due to performance issues.

This was announced by the the studio via the game’s official forums:
Hiya folks,
We have temporarily disabled Junkertown in all queues queues due to a bug that was causing graphic performance issues. Our goal is to re-enable the map, along with Torbjorn and Bastion, with our next planned update on October 25th
Our apologies for the inconvenience and thank you for your continued support
As you can see, both the map and heroes will be available again next week when the next Overwatch 2 update is released on October 25.

Once more news regarding the patch is made public, we’ll let our readers know. Hopefully, this is the last map that will get pulled out for the foreseeable future.
