Path of Exile Lake of Kalandra expansion has been finally revealed in a brand new trailer. The new expansion will take Exile to the mirrored lake in a new realm, and it will be available for free on August 19 for PC and on August 24 for consoles.

The lake itself manifests reflections of the Wraeclast as it emerges from the misty surfaces of the new realm. Players will have to fight through these dangerous encounters in order to uncover the mysteries of Kalandra, and earn her true power.

The new expansion will also allow players to build Mirror Tablets by placing reflections of dangerous encounters at a specific location as they explore the Wraeclast. The farther away players travel into the new realm, the greater the difficulty as well as the rewards.

You may recognise Kalandra from the infamous Mirror of Kalandra, Path of Exile’s most valuable item. The Lake of Kalandra expansion explores the identity of this iconic character and allows you a taste of her power.
