Atlus West has revealed more information about its upcoming RPG, Persona 5 Tactica. The Persona 5 Tactica details include a fresh look at a new kingdom, specifically the Yoshiki Kingdom, new characters, more details on the battle system, and the upcoming DLC.

Persona 5 Tactica Yoshiki Kingdom, Characters, Gameplay Features, and DLC:

Yoshiki Kingdom

  • Yoshiki’s Kingdom will be strikingly different from the vibe of Marie’s Kingdom
  • The Phantom Thieves and Erina will now find themselves in a Kingdom inspired by mid-1800s Japan
  • The Phantom Thieves become wanted criminals after saving a woman in crisis
  • Citizens in Yoshiki’s Kingdom are subject to surveillance and are captured immediately to perform labor if they take a stand against Yoshiki
  • The Phantom Thieves decide to stand up to Yoshiki
  • After disguising as samurai, geisha, and other citizens, the team decides to enact Toshiro’s diversionary
    strategy so as to escape with the imprisoned citizens unharmed
  • While they are successful, their joy is short-lived
  • Yoshiki returns, his demeanor is now replaced with a terrifying rage

Characters:

Yusuke Kitagawa (Voiced by Matthew Mercer)

  • Persona is Goemon
  • A second-year art student from Kosei High School
  • Well known for his artwork

Makoto Niijima (Voiced by Cherami Leigh)

  • Persona is Johanna
  • A third-year student and the class president of Shujin Academy
  • She always felt she had to be a responsible student
  • She assumes the role of the reliable, older sister in The Phantom Thieves, and is a physical brawler who uses her fists to fight in battle

Futaba Sakura (Voiced by Erica Lindbeck)

  • Persona is Necronomicon
  • A genius hacker who, at one point, grabbed the attention of the world
  • In The Phantom Thieves, she provides a navigator role, supporting her teammates

Haru Okumura (Voiced by Xanthe Huynh)

  • Persona is Milady
  • Daughter of the CEO of Okumura Foods, a large fast-food chain
  • She finds the courage to stand up to her father who set an arranged marriage for her
  • In the process, she loses him but continues the fight after overcoming her grief

Gameplay Features:

Character Swapping

  • Switch between three active party members whenever you feel like it
  • Until you finalize your attack, you can switch between characters and experiment with them
  • Switch between characters to set up the Triple Threat all-out attack
  • If one of your party member is on 0 health, you can Baton Pass to someone else in your reserves
  • If your HP is 0, you can swap between non-active party members through Baton Passes

Strike Down Enemies

  • Having the higher ground gives you an advantage
  • You can strike down with melee attacks, and knock enemies down
  • Players can also knock enemies towards other party members, triggering follow-up attacks with additional damage and extra turns

Diverse Range of Enemies

  • Tactica will feature different variety of enemies including Musketeers, Grenadiers, and Drummers

Difficulty Settings

  • There are five difficulty settings (Safety, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Risky)
  • They can be changed at any time during the game

Persona Fusions

  • The Velver Room resident in Tactica is Lavenza dressed as a blacksmith
  • Expremint with Persona fusion in a new industrial setting
  • Fuse obtained Personas to power them up

DLC Overview:

Repaint Your Heart Challenge Pack

  • Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa will appear in the DLC
  • Guernica, a pseudonymous street artist, creates ​enormous murals
  • A strange graffiti begins appearing in the city
  • Among those is a reindition of Arsene

DLC Characters

Goro Akechi (Voiced by Robbie Daymond)

  • Persona is Robin Hood
  • A third-year high school student and detective
  • He has solved numerous cases and has built a reputation

Kasumi Yoshizawa (Voiced by Laura Post)

  • Persona is Cendrillon
  • A beautiful junior student at Shujin Academy

The scheduled dlc is looking really good, can not wait until November 17th when Persona 5 Tactica releases. Very excited.
