Recommendations From the Sale
- A Plague Tale: Innocence $9.99 -75% – Action game with an interesting story, and surprisingly doesn’t feel dated at all.
- A Plague Tale: Requiem $20.99 -65% – Sequel. These are narrative-driven titles that won a few awards. Don’t get if you’re squeamish with rats.
- A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead $14.99 -50% – horror movie based on the movie franchise. Has this unique gimmick where noise in your environment can alert the monsters.
- AI LIMIT Deluxe Edition $33.74 -25% – Souls-like from Chinese studio Sense Games. Received mixed reviews if I’m not mistaken, but still has a good amount of fans. Might be worth a look for Souls fans who want something new to play.
- Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition $23.99 -70% – My personal GOTY of 2024. Horror game made with an artistic vibe and feels like a film.
- Aliens: Dark Descent $13.99 -65% – Alien license applied to a strategy game where your characters can die. This is mind numbingly hard, so bear that in mind before picking it up.
- Alone in the Dark – Digital Deluxe Edition $24.99 -50% – The latest reboot of the granddaddy of survival horror. Stars David Harbour. Reviewed OK, but failed to meet sales expectations. Combat and movement kind of janky, but serviceable enough for horror junkies.
- Assassin’s Creed Shadows $41.99 -40% – Latest game in the franchise that’s based in Japan. Reviewed quite well, and is getting a lot of support. Lowest it’s been on PSN.
- Assassin’s Creed Valhalla $11.99 -80% – Includes various packs. The AC game was reviewed well. Just a wee bit too long and overstays its welcome somewhat.
- ASTRO BOT $39.59 -34% – GOTY winner, cute platformer and fun for everyone in the family. No mention whether we’ll see more content drop in 2025, but I really doubt Team Asobi is done with the game.
- Atomic Heart (PS4 & PS5) $24.49 -65% – It’s like BioShock but with less polish and less interesting story, and there is a sequel in development.
- Baby Steps $14.99 -25% – Quirky physics simulator game that has you a learning how to walk but you’re not a baby. Reviewed fairly well, but failed to generate buzz.
- Back 4 Blood: Standard Edition PS4 & PS5 $5.99 -90% – Co-op zombie game. Support has ended but servers are still up. Sequel said to be in development. It’s fun and at that price, get your friends to pick it up for co-op
- Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden $23.99 -60% – Not AAA but feels like it. Solid voice acting, has a crazy good story. Lots of side quests and content. Only issue is the combat might be a bit too simplistic for some. I really liked this even if we most likely aren’t getting a sequel, I’d still say this is a must-play.
- Batman: Arkham Collection $5.99 -90% – Trilogy of the best superhero series of all-time. Well worth the money, unless you care more for frame rates than gameplay.
- Battlefield™ 6 $59.49 -15% – Surprised to see this. The latest Battlefield game. Solid multiplayer and getting a ton of support. If you want to an awesome FPS shooter, pick this up.
- Bayonetta & Vanquish 10th Anniversary Bundle $9.99 -75% – PlatinumGames’ excellent action games. If you dig Japanese-style action games, give this a go.
- BioShock: The Collection $9.99 -80% – Another value-for-money bundle. BioShock 1 has one of the most memorable stories I’ve ever played.
- Blades of Fire $47.99 -20% – Fairly new. From the devs behind Castlevania Lord of Shadows. Premise is fine, but some might get overwhelmed with the mandatory crafting mechanics.
- Blasphemous + Blasphemous 2 Bundle $11.24 -75% – Side-scrolling Metroidvania game that’s still getting a good amount of support.
- Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night $9.99 -75% – Castlevania creator Koji Igarashi’s spiritual successor to Symphony of the Night. Awesome experience. Loads of secrets and just the right amount of challenge.
- Borderlands 4 Super Deluxe Edition $103.99 -20% – Includes a bunch of packs, though I am not sure if it’s worth the extra dough.
- Capcom Fighting Collection 1 + 2 Bundle $38.99 -35% – Includes Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors, Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire, Vampire Hunter 2: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, Vampire Savior 2: The Lord of Vampire, Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo, Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, Cyberbots: Full Metal Madness, Red Earth.
Capcom vs. SNK: Millennium Fight 2000 Pro, Capcom vs. SNK 2: Mark of the Millennium 2001, Capcom Fighting Evolution, Street Fighter Alpha 3 Upper, Power Stone, Power Stone 2, Project Justice, Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein Fighting game fan’s dream. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 $39.99 -20% - Crysis 2 Remastered $8.99 -70% – The sequel to the first game. While it might not have as much fanfare, it was still a solid campaign. It featured a solid MP too, though that’s not part of the remasters
- Crysis 3 Remastered $8.99 -70% – Third chapter in the sc-fi series.

- DARK SOULS™ II: Scholar of the First Sin $19.99 -50% – Remaster of Dark Souls 2 with all the content released
- DAVE THE DIVER $11.99 -40% – Action-adventure and management all rolled into one. Mintrocket has supported this up to this day, and this has even won awards.
- Dead Island 2 $12.49 -75% – One of the only few games Embracer released that seems actually to have maade a profit. All DLCs are out and game is complete.
- Dead Space $10.49 -85% – One of the best remakes ever. It’s a travesty that we still haven’t gotten confirmation of a remake of Dead Space 2. This improves the original in every way, and I can’t stress enough how awesome this game is. The vibe and atmosphere Motive has made when you walk corridors and see shadows? Yeah, awesome creepy stuff. Lowest price on PSN and definitely a must-buy at this price.
- DEATH STRANDING 2: ON THE BEACH $49.69 -29% – This is Kojima’s highly-rated sequel to the first Death Stranding game, and features those off-beat Kojima themes and cinematic action. Lowest it’s been so far on PSN.

- Grand Theft Auto V (PlayStation®5) $19.99 -50% – This is the lowest it will ever be on PSN. It’s been on sale before, and this is the lowest it’s ever been. If you’re one of the two people that still do not own this, then this is your chance.

- L.A. Noire $19.99 -50% – Rockstar’s detective game. Slower paced than your usual action game, so don’te expect moment-to-moment gunfights. More deliberate but offers something new. Not getting a remaster or remake soon, so worth a shot for now.
- Lies of P $29.99 -50% – Possibly one of the most beloved Souls-like games not made by FromSoftware. Have not played this but friends have nothing but good stuff to say about it.
- Little Nightmares III PS4 & PS5 $31.99 -20% – Developed by Supermassive instead of Tarsier. Not as good as the first two, solid, but lacks innovation.
