This week sure has been busy for Playstation All-Star: Battle Royale. We’ll start with the good news first, and that’s that this year’s DICE event has awarded PS All-Star fighter of the year. No doubt that this is an incredible feat for the title.

As for the bad news, Sony and SuperBot Entertainment have revealed that they are no longer working with each other. Sony announced that they have cut ties with SuperBot and that all future DLC wil be handled by Santa Monica, the developers of God of War.

The two DLC sets that are set to release in a few weeks is still on schedule. As for planned DLC that SuperBot had such as “Abe from Abe Odyssey,” there are no details from Sony whether this has been cancelled, but Sony did say that they do plan on continuing supporting the title with more DLC.

It’s important to note that SuperBot Entertainment was an independent studio that wasn’t actually owned by Sony. They are currently seeking another publishers, so don’t expect this to be the last time we hear from them. Thanks IGN
