Quantum Error Update 1.000.009

TeamKill Media has released Quantum Error update 1.000.009, which aims to fix the weapon wheel functionality in the game. Read on for what’s new in the patch notes below.

Quantum Error Update 1.000.009 Patch Notes:

Here are the official changelog via TeamKill Media:

Main fixes:

  • -adjustments to the weapon wheel to lower its sensitivity and prevent the ability to spam it.
  • -collision adjusted in “national guard” and “underground mars” areas to help prevent falling into out of bound areas.
  • -cargo door elevator door on admin floor adjusted to prevent getting locked onto that floor if players leaves door after using it.
  • -admin firewing adjusted to prevent objective getting reset to an earlier point in the game.
  • -text added to health bar to inform player wether they are standing, crouching or crawling.
  • -subtitles not showing up during parts when using radio fixed.
  • -agility test tutorial level can be skipped by interacting with door behind where player spawns.
  • -invisible enemies tweaked.
  • -end of office area unloading but not locking doors fixed.
  • -jaws of life battery added to light prison area to prevent getting locked into area.
  • -adjustments to spawned enemies after saving the NPC Jonathan.

That seems to be it. Hopefully, we can get a proper changelog released soon, and once we do, we’ll update the article to reflect it. That said, we’re not counting on it given TeamKill is a four-man studio and nowhere near a AAA development house.

If you’re not familiar with the game or the weapon wheel issues, go read our review of the game here, where we said the following concerning the weapon wheel: “One of the biggest issues in the game though is how completely broken the tool and weapon wheels are to use when selecting them. By holding down left or right on the d-pad, you will bring up the tools and weapons wheels respectively, and can then use the right analog stick to select your tool or weapon or choice. The major problem here though is that this doesn’t even work half of the time. I cannot count the number of times I had the right analog stick hover over the shotgun and the wheel very clearly shows that I have the shotgun selected and it randomly pulls out a completely different weapon that isn’t always right next to it on the wheel.”

The entire game is poorly optimised. The trailers are nothing compared to the actual game..
Using Ps5 and £1,500 144gz gaming TV. And still terrible.
