Ubisoft has released (Rainbow Six) R6 Siege update 1.000.066 on last-gen and current-gen platforms, and this is a minor update. Don’t expect any new content in this, especially since we’re going to get the Year 8 Season 4 Operation Deep Freeze content drop this November 28.

So far, Ubisoft has not mentioned anything about today’s patch notes just yet. The official Ubisoft Support account states that this update might improve crossplay performance, though nothing official from the devs have been shared just yet.

Hi there. This maintenance aims to improve the game in a few different aspects, and that could include the issue with the cross-play. Any official confirmations/announcements will be posted via the official game account.

Once we have the official notes, we’ll update the article with it. That said, don’t be surprised if we don’t see any changelog crop up at all, as that does seem to happen sometimes to minor updates.
