Rainbow Six Siege 2 2FA for Ranked Now Required in APAC Region

Those planning to play Ranked in Rainbow Six Siege on PC in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region will now have another layer of security to go through, as Rainbow Six Siege 2FA (two-factor authentication) or also known as 2SV (two-step verification).

This was announced by Ubisoft today where the publisher shared the following details:

Once the 2SV Ranked lock is initiated, you will not be able to queue for Ranked unless you have activated 2 Step Verification. The official lock date will be announced at a later time. To make sure you’re prepared, make sure to activate 2SV under the account management section at account.ubisoft.com.
